"A lived in landscape becomes a place, which implies intimacy; a once lived in landscape can be a place , if explored, or remain a landscape, if simply observed" Lucy Lippard (1997)
Through diverse practice, these artists consider what can happen if we explore everyday landscapes, objects and acts rather than simply observing them. By considering Lucy Lippards text, "Lure of the Local", this exhibition asks what everyday encounters can tell us about ourselves as well as how we fit into what's around us.
