Brighton & Hove Mayor's Charities Walk 2017

See Event from Mayor of Brighton & Hove, event on Facebook and Eventbrite

As Mayor of Brighton & Hove I actively support 27 local charities. On April 30th supporters and friends of my chosen charities will join in creating a new walking route. It will take in some of the highlights of our lovely local downland.

By pioneering the new Brighton & Hove Way we aim to make this a designated pathway for the enjoyment of Brighton & Hove visitors and residents alike.

Starting in Saltdean there are 6 clear stages, including one with disabled access. You can join or leave at different points. The full route is just over 27 kilometers (18 miles) – one kilometre for every Mayor’s Charity! Walk a little or the lot – it’s up to you. There is a suitable stage for everyone. Dogs on leads are welcome.

We will be accompanied Park Rangers/Volunteers and enjoy talks along the way at areas of specific interest.

How to Enter
Visit www.mayorswalk.eventbrite.co.uk, select a charity to support - or select all 27! There is a £5 registration fee*.

Your chosen charity will then contact you will further details including full route timing and how to raise sponsorship money or donate.

*The registration fee pays for the event costs. Any excess will go into the Mayor’s Charities Fund. Your sponsorship and donations will go directly to the charity or charities you choose to support.
