Join BHT for the ultimate fundraising challenge and help them cycle 40,075km around the world in just 12 hours
The clock for this extraordinary challenge starts at 7am and runs throughout the day, with cyclists aiming to reach the combined target of 66,792 laps!
Whether you’re four years old or 94, everyone is welcome. This is a family-friendly event, with a range of entertainment and refreshments available throughout the day.
20, 50, 100, 500, 1000 laps? Set yourself a personal challenge!
Don’t own a bike? Don’t worry. Why not take the challenge on an exercise bike at your gym? All we need to know is how many kilometres you cycle so that we can add it to our grand total.
Prizes will be awarded for the most laps completed, most sponsorship raised, youngest rider, best fancy dress and most decorated bike.
In accordance with The Highway Code rule 59 BHT strongly encourages the use of helmets by all cyclists and in particular by children. Cyclists who choose to not wear a cycling helmet do so at their own risk.
Every penny raised will go directly towards supporting people who are rough sleeping in Brighton & Hove.
BHT’s First Base Day Centre provides a range of support, from basic necessities such as food, health services, showers and laundry facilities, to person-centred advice and training to help find accommodation and employment.
Every year, First Base Day Centre helps around 1,000 people to move away from sleeping rough and on to healthy, independent and positive futures.
