#BrightonBricksBuild Create A Microscale Model

#BrightonBricksBuild Create A Microscale Model

Inspired by the Advent Calendars, I thought the first challenge of the year should be create a microscale model

So it could be a based on an existing model, like the microscale versions of spaceships you find in the Star Wars Advent Calendar.

Or you can create a microscale version model of your own design, be it based on something in real life, or popular culture, or just from your imagination.

And the great thing about microscale models is you don’t need hundreds of parts (unless you creating a microscale version of a whole city!!). The Microscale Razor Crest in this year’s Advent Calendar has around 20 parts.

Big Microscale Ideas

And it doesn’t have to be small, if you see the Architure series Skylines, you can create a skyline of your home town, or a microscale city from your favourite film / tv show / book

Here is an example designed by Steve Mayes of a Blackpool skyline, you can even buy digital instructions or the set via his Brick This website

And LEGO produced a few years microscale models of some of their classic sets. From a castle to a spaceship to a pirate ship to a monorail
